Michael Jackson - RIP (1958 - 2009)

As usual, I tuned on fm when driving to work. I was shocked and saddened, this morning when I heard the DJ announced that “The Pop Icon who also King of Pop passed away at his aged of 50… …” And the time, I was…erm…am I heard it clearly & correctly? Michael Jackson? YES, is him, he has left us… =.=”

NEW YORK, NY – June 25, 2009 – Michael Jackson, one of the most widely beloved entertainers and profoundly influential artists of all-time, leaves an indelible imprint on popular music and culture.

MJ died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.
"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said.

Cardiac arrest is an abnormal heart rhythm that stops the heart from pumping blood to the body. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

Today, the entertainment world mourned as we suffered a double blow when it was reported that both pop giant Michael Jackson, 50, and 1970s TV star and pinup queen Farrah Fawcett, 62, had died in Los Angeles. I don’t really know Farrah Fawcett, but MJ’s are always in my mind. The favorites songs “Heal The World, You Are Not Alone, Thrillers, They Don’t Care About Us, Black or White, Billie Jean and many many more…

MJ’s you are always in my heart…Your music and soul will never die…Rest In Peace
